One of the first chest of drawers furniture might have been in the late seventeen hundreds Chippendale spice chest. Made of walnut there were many doors that would open and a drawer would pull out holding exotic spices. From there the chest of drawers furniture evolved to be put in every room of the house, including the kitchen.

Just find one or two that fit in the room you want it to fit in. prices will range from one hundred dollars to thousands of dollars. If you are looking for antique chest of drawers furniture, expect to pay a lot of money. They are worth it though as you just can not find that kind of furniture made anymore.
